Rust Elementor Kit: Docs
Thank you so much for purchasing our item.
Installation
Follow these steps to install the kit and demo content:
- To get started, download the demo content.
- From your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
- Search for "All-in-One WP Migration and Backup", install and activate it.
- Once the plugin is installed, a tab will appear — click on it.
- Now, in the downloaded archive, you will find the file
Rust-Elementor-DEMO.wpress. Upload this file in the "Import > FILE" section. (If you have problems with the upload, click here.) - Once the import is complete, refresh the page — you will be logged out.
- Log in again using the following credentials:
Login: Admin
Password: Rust_Template_Kit - Once connected, you can create a new account, log in, and delete the "Admin" account.
- Now all you need to do is install and activate your Elementor Pro and the demo content will be functional.
If you only want to install the kit, without the full demo content, follow these instructions:
- First, install: Elementor, Elementor Pro & WooCommerce.
- From your WordPress dashboard, go to Elementor > Tools > Import / Export Kit.
- Click on Import a Template Kit, and select your downloaded file
Rust-Elementor-Kit.zip. - Click next, then apply. The kit is now activated.
Some template settings do not apply correctly or completely. Use the instructions below to find the elements/templates.
Because Elementor kits do not import images, you will find them in the "img" folder.
Problem with uploading the demo
To be able to import demo content, the PHP configuration of your site must be able to receive 500MB files. To allow your site to receive 500MB files, here are different ways to achieve this:
- Edit the
.htaccessfile from the FTP root of your site by adding or modifying this line:php_value upload_max_filesize 500M - Or edit the
wp-config.phpfile from the FTP root of your site by adding or modifying this line:@ini_set( 'upload_max_filesize' , '500M' );
Pages & Templates
Important: certain pages (such as the Shop) are not really pages but Elementor templates. To modify them, you must go through the templates and not the pages.
Here is a list of the different templates and pages created:
| Target | Path | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Home | Page directly editable with Elementor | Main and home page of the site. |
| Shop | Edit Elementor Template: Shop | Shop page, with all the items. |
| My Account | Page directly editable with Elementor & Elementor Template: Custom My Account | Member account page. It's a real page but it also has a template. |
| Cart | Page directly editable with Elementor | Customer cart page. |
| Checkout Page | Page directly editable with Elementor | Order checkout page. |
| Purchase Summary | Page directly editable with Elementor | Page displayed after a purchase. |
| 404 Page | Edit Elementor Template: 404 Page | To edit the 404 page. |

| Single Product | Edit Elementor Template: Single Product | To change the appearance of article pages. |
Link WooCommerce with your Rust Server
To link your WooCommerce shop and your Rust server, you can use the "WordPress Claimer" plugin made by Rust-Evolution.
You will find installation instructions directly on their page.
Add a Steam login
To add a Steam connection to your site (required for the shop), you can use the Super Socializer plugin.
After installation, simply activate the "Social Login", check Steam, and put your Steam API.
In Social Login > Advanced Configuration, check the boxes "Enable at login page", "Enable at register page", "Enable at WooCommerce Customer Login Form" & "Enable at WooCommerce Customer Register Form".
Recommendation: deactivate "Social Share".
